Membership

Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club of Sarasota is a semi-private club, also known as a Common Interest Realty Association (CIRA).

This means that all property owners are members of Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club of Sarasota, Inc. Membership is required with a property when it is sold. There are no Golf or Social Memberships available to the public; however, Golf, Dining, and Special Events are open to the Public.

As members, they collectively own the common property including the Clubhouse, fitness center, tennis courts, and more. All members have a say in approving major decisions which helps ensure that changes and updates are in the members' best interests and cultivates a strong sense of community.

When you join Stoneybrook, you join more than just a community. We often hear Stoneybrook residents say, “I have more friends in Stoneybrook than I’ve ever had!” Members at Stoneybrook not only enjoy pristine golf, tennis and bocce courts, and fitness center, but they also appreciate the wide range of social activities the Clubhouse and the Membership offer. Monthly Bingo, Trivia, Mahjongg, Yoga, Book Clubs and Movie Night are just some of the exciting things to do in Stoneybrook! And our professional and service-oriented Club staff are among the best in the industry with the long tenures that contribute to the sense of extended family.

Membership includes the financial responsibility of annual fees according to member class. In major projects, special assessments may be required.

Stoneybrook Golf Membership

This is a full golf membership including use of the golf course, practice facilities, golf cart rental, restaurant, fitness center, snack bar, card rooms, swimming pool, jacuzzi. Golf memberships include up to two members of those who are listed on the home deed. As of June 1, 2023, there is an annual fee of $6,304.00 per property. A cart rental fee of $25 per person is charged for each round. This fee covers the rental, sales tax and administrative charge. There is a Restaurant minimum of $600 per year.

Stoneybrook Social Membership

This is a social membership including use of the restaurant, fitness center, card rooms, swimming pool, jacuzzi. Social memberships include up to two members of those who are listed on the home deed. As of June 1, 2023, there is an annual fee of $4,288.00 per property. There is a Restaurant minimum of $600 per year.

Stoneybrook Other Association Fees

With each membership, there are HOA fees as well as the Palmer Ranch Association fee ($175.00 per year) and the SCA Boulevard Maintenance fee ($220.00 per year).

*Please note: If you purchase a condo or villa, you will be a member of an additional association which will assess fees for common grounds and building maintenance. Some single-family homes in a few neighborhoods within Stoneybrook may also have a small assessment fee for common ground maintenance.
